Cooperative: We are made up of families who are involved in virtually every aspect of running our school. Our teachers are dedicated professionals.

Through active family involvement in self-governed public education, Manzanita Charter School (a cooperative charter), seeks to create a safe, nurturing, and diverse educational community for our children.

Our vision is to prepare students academically and socially to be well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to themselves, their families, the community, and our world.
Our Location
We are located in Richmond, California. We are the only charter middle school in the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD). Most of our students are from within the district. We are able to accept out-of-district students. Please inquire if you are interested.
